Wing Chun Chi Sao Is Not Soft
This blog post clarifies one of the biggest mistakes of martial arts scene - mainstream Wing Chun practitioners assume Chi Sao is soft and Wing Chun is soft. If you watch people doing Chi Sao, you will see them rolling their arms softly and continuously and they claim that this is a training tool to develop sensitivity which is supposed to be helpful for self-defence purpose.
