The mainstream Wing Chun schools often try to convince their students and public that their techniques can work because their Chi Sau is impressive. They usually claim that they can stick, sense and trap their opponents' arms and this ability requires many years of training to perfect this art - therefore some students may choose to train with their schools for many years.
